Arturo E. Sandoval

Arturo E. Sandoval focuses his practice on intellectual property and commercial litigation matters. His experience includes advising and representing clients on patent infringement, trade secrets and white collar crime litigation in federal district courts and before arbitration panels. Mr. Sandoval is involved with all aspects of patent and complex commercial litigation preparation leading up to a jury trial (and after trial) including taking and defending depositions, technical analysis of patents, trial witness preparation and drafting motions. Mr. Sandoval also has experience in mediation, having been a mediator for the City Attorney’s Office of Los Angeles’ Dispute Resolution Program (DRP), conducting mediations in both English and Spanish.
Mr. Sandoval is currently an attorney with the international law firm of Squire Sanders & Dempsey LLP in the San Francisco office. Prior to joining Squire Sanders, Mr. Sandoval was a summer associate and an intellectual property litigation associate with the Palo Alto office of McDermott Will & Emery. He was also a member of their pro bono committee and has extensive experience representing pro bono clients in guardianship cases in the county of San Mateo. Mr. Sandoval served in the United States Army from 1994 to 1997 as a Military Policeman and Linguist.
Mr. Sandoval received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings in 2003. During law school he was a member of the Hastings International Comparative Law Review and was a team member of the HNBA National Moot Competition. Mr. Sandoval received his B.A. in Political Science from California State University, Northridge. Mr. Sandoval was admitted to practice in California in 2003 and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
